Local Eyes Marketing is run by Crawley born entrepreneur, Iain Ainsworth. Back in the 1990’s, Iain was a store manager for the now defunct wine merchant, Victoria Wine.

Then, with the growth of the internet later that decade, he became an online book dealer, specialising in searching for hard to find titles for his clients.

The rapid growth of online search engines and companies like Amazon in the first decade of this century, pretty much killed off this enterprise however, and Iain then decided to learn how to code to build websites – primarily for himself, and then to sell to other individuals and small businesses who wanted an online presence.

“Selling websites and marketing services is no different to selling books or wine in truth.” says Iain, “It all begins with a friendly conversation. Budget is always the first, and most important, topic of that discussion. From there, we can work within that framework to deliver on the client’s needs and wants”

Iain works from home, which helps keep overheads low – savings he passes on to his clients with his extremely competitive pricing.

The vast majority of the work is done by Iain himself, but at busy periods or with deadlines fast approaching, he does enlist the help of several trusted freelancers who share his work ethic and values.
